Shoreline, WA -- Northwest Hand Specialists announced today that JoAnn Green, the clinics' Director of Therapy, has been selected as a member of the national Board of Directors for the Hand Therapy Certification Commission (HTCC), beginning in 2007.
The HTCC oversees the certification and recertification processes of more than 4,800 Certified Hand Therapists (CHTs) worldwide. A native of Minnesota, Ms. Green has served as an occupational therapist since 1995 and worked in Colorado, Kentucky, and Alaska prior to settling in Washington. She has been a CHT since 2001, and has been involved with the HTCC since 2002.
Ms. Green became Director of Therapy at Northwest Hand Specialists in 2004 and served as the chair of the HTCC national recertification committee.
I thoroughly enjoy working with patients and other therapists who specialize in diseases
and therapies of upper extremities, such as elbows and shoulders,
said Ms. Green.
